"The final session at the new monthly meeting at Abbey Wood Community Centre involved making wreaths with a strong edible/foraged content.
It included bay leaves, rosemary and carob pods, with the addition of rosehips from the garden attached to the Community Centre, and dried citrus peel stars. The holly isn't edible but very decorative and the ivy, although also inedible, has another household use - but more about that another time!
One of the attendees had plans to add a curl of cinnamon bark for even more natural fragrance when she got home.
All of them learned a new skill and saved a considerable amount of money in the process."
